2022 Approach

The Moon Dialogs mission is to produce credible, actionable mechanisms facilitating lunar coordination, policies, norms and laws; leveraging voluntary frameworks and cross-sector, international support. In 2022, the Moon Dialogs convenors are working on developing the Lunar Briefing Book.

Lunar Briefing Book

The Lunar Briefing Book (LBB) aims to be a reference guidebook for high profile government personnel and private actors of the space industry.

Part I of the LBB mainly outlines the policy issues (ie: registration, liability, transparency to only name a few), while Part II mainly targets operational considerations and uses an approach based on lunar activities (ie: orbital activities, landed activities, interactions activities etc). Ultimately we want to have a high level product that is useful for a broad audience of space actors.
